Website Tab

Website Tab The website tab allows you to create, modify and delete the pages that make up your website.

Site Structure Pane

The left pane, Site Structure, shows a tree view of your site. Each line of the tree view represents a unique URL at which an element of the site is accessible. The structure is displayed in a URL hierarchy, so each element’s URL includes its parent’s URL as well. For example, if the /detail page is the child of the /product page at the top level of the hierarchy, the former is accessible at the /product/detail URL.

You can open and close different parts of the structure by pressing the plus and minus icons next to individual parent elements. The current state of the tree is saved in a cookie so that what pages are open or closed stays consistent during a single session as you click around the editor and back to the site.

You can open and close the entire site tree using the arrow icons.

Edit Your Site Pane

In the default Website Tab view, you can drag elements like pages, themes, and frameworks onto your site structure. The right pane, Edit Your Site, lists the elements, modifiers, and modules that you can add.

Buttons

You can click on the more button for a quick edit page, or on the Wizards button to add a blog, set up a basic site, or set up a members site.

The quick edit page displays the site structure as a list. Click on the URL of a page in the list to edit that page’s meta data.
