This is all pushed to the development branch and should be working and reasonably thoroughly tested. You’re best bet is to use a fresh development copy to run the quick_install wizard on the machines you are trying to setup – run the first one as the master and subsequent ones as slaves. This will get you the proper set up with multiple boxes. The machines need to be able to talk to each other to exchange locally stored files, but provided you run the setup correctly this should be handled automatically. Another module you might want to take a look at is the S3 module – just install it, activate it on a domain and put in your S3 credentials (you can turn on cloudfront support as well) Then go to Options → Website Configuration → Files. Check the “S3” file support box and optionally set s3 to be the default. Any file you upload will automatically get pushed to S3 and served via either S3 or the cloudfront CDN. |
